CanineOS
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of the CanineOS application, websites, client portal, connected services, and related platform features.
Effective date: July 25, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
CanineOS is a multi-tenant business operations platform developed and operated by Custom Canine Unlimited. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to every person or organization that accesses or uses CanineOS, including business owners, administrators, employees, contractors, clients, and authorized representatives (“you”).
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, connecting a third-party service, or otherwise accessing CanineOS, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use CanineOS for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The CanineOS Service
CanineOS provides tools for pet-care, dog-training, boarding, kennel, scheduling, booking, registration, payment, reporting, communications, media, document, calendar, marketing-measurement, and client-portal workflows. Features may vary by company, location, role, subscription, configuration, and connected provider.
A business using CanineOS is responsible for its own services, employees, client relationships, animal care, prices, policies, decisions, regulatory compliance, and the accuracy of information it enters into the platform. CanineOS provides software and does not itself provide veterinary, medical, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.
3. Accounts and Authorized Access
- You must provide accurate information and keep account details current.
- You must protect passwords, authentication methods, devices, OAuth authorizations, and access links.
- You may access only companies, locations, records, clients, animals, and features that you are authorized to use.
- Business administrators are responsible for assigning and removing staff roles, locations, permissions, and connected-account access.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, credential disclosure, or misuse.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by CanineOS’s failure to use reasonable security measures.
4. Customer and User Content
You retain ownership of information and content you or your organization submit to CanineOS, including client records, pet records, documents, photographs, videos, reports, schedules, messages, and operational data (“Customer Content”).
You grant CanineOS a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, reproduce, display, back up, and otherwise use Customer Content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the authorized CanineOS features. You represent that you have the rights and legally sufficient authorization required to submit and process Customer Content.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use CanineOS to:
- Violate laws, regulations, court orders, contracts, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or animal-welfare obligations.
- Access, disclose, alter, or delete data without authorization.
- Upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, authorization, security controls, rate limits, audit logs, or platform availability.
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, scrape, or use CanineOS to build a competing product except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use Google user data or other connected-service data for a purpose outside the permissions granted by the user and the applicable provider’s policies.
6. Google and Other Connected Services
CanineOS may allow authorized users to connect services such as Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, Google Analytics, Google Ads, payment processors, messaging platforms, customer-management systems, storage providers, and other integrations. Connecting a service authorizes CanineOS to exchange information with that provider only for the selected functionality.
Google connections may be used to authenticate users, check calendar availability, synchronize CanineOS events, select Analytics properties or Ads accounts, and deliver purchase or refund measurement. CanineOS does not receive your Google password. You may disconnect a Google integration in CanineOS and may revoke access through your Google Account.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. CanineOS is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Google LLC merely because it uses Google APIs. We are not responsible for changes, interruptions, restrictions, or errors caused by third-party providers, though we will use reasonable efforts to maintain supported integrations.
7. Payments, Purchases, and Transactions
Transactions processed through CanineOS may be subject to prices, deposits, taxes, refunds, cancellation terms, credits, coupons, and other policies established by the business providing the service. Payment-card processing is performed by an authorized payment provider. You authorize the applicable charges when you confirm a purchase or payment.
Businesses are responsible for reviewing their transaction records, handling client disputes, and complying with payment, tax, refund, and consumer-protection obligations. CanineOS may preserve transaction, adjustment, and audit records to support accuracy, security, reconciliation, and legal compliance.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and handling of personal information and Google user data are described in the CanineOS Privacy Policy. You agree to provide required notices and obtain required permissions from employees, clients, pet owners, and other individuals whose information you submit.
Each CanineOS company is responsible for configuring roles, permissions, locations, retention practices, communications, and integrations appropriately for its operations and applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
CanineOS, including its software, design, workflows, documentation, branding, interfaces, and related technology, is owned by Custom Canine Unlimited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use CanineOS under these Terms, no ownership right is transferred to you.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you authorize us to use that feedback to improve CanineOS without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
10. Service Availability and Changes
We work to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, provider outages, internet failures, feature changes, legal requirements, and other circumstances may affect availability. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and will provide notice when reasonably required.
11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using CanineOS at any time. Business administrators may deactivate users and integrations. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, security threats, unlawful activity, material breach, misuse, provider restrictions, or risks to users, animals, CanineOS, or third parties.
Upon termination, access may end immediately. Provisions concerning ownership, payment obligations, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and required data retention survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANINEOS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
CanineOS does not guarantee that platform records replace professional veterinary judgment, physical inspection, emergency procedures, employee supervision, or a business’s independent responsibility for animal safety and care.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANINEOS AND CUSTOM CANINE UNLIMITED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO CANINEOS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO CANINEOS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID TO US FOR THE APPLICABLE CANINEOS SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THOSE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, an organization using CanineOS will defend and indemnify CanineOS and Custom Canine Unlimited against third-party claims arising from that organization’s services, Customer Content, unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, or failure to obtain required permissions, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with jurisdiction in Georgia will have jurisdiction over disputes unless applicable law requires another forum. Before filing a claim, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in CanineOS, law, security, provider requirements, or business practices. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
